Cookies Policy
Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and how to switch them off.

What we use them for
This site is deliberately light on cookies. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell anything derived from them, and we do not share them with data brokers.
- Essential — needed for the site to function and stay secure. These set no identifiers and cannot be turned off from within the site.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — tells us which pages people actually read, roughly where visitors are in the world, and what leads to an enquiry. This one does set cookies, so it stays switched off until you agree.
Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.
About the analytics
We run Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. In practice that means two things:
- Nothing is requested from Google, and no analytics cookie is set, until you press Accept. Declining means the script is never loaded at all.
- IP addresses are anonymised, and we have not enabled any advertising, remarketing or ad-personalisation features.
Google acts as our data processor for this. Their own handling is covered by Google’s privacy policy.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by services we rely on rather than by us directly — for example our hosting provider’s security tooling. We keep this list as short as we reasonably can.
Changing your mind
You can switch analytics on or off here at any time. There is no penalty for declining and no reduced functionality — the site behaves identically either way.
Analytics is not currently switched on for this site, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Turning cookies off in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings — every major browser has this under privacy or security, and their own help pages explain how.
Be aware that browser-level blocking affects this site and most others you visit, and some functionality elsewhere may stop working as expected.
